Both women couldn’t help but laugh at the boy’s sudden bravado. It broke the tension. Marian leaned in and whispered in Beth’s ear, “What do you think? I’m game if you are. And I’ve got toys.”
Beth took Marian’s hand and they started toward the stairs, “Let’s go!”
As the two women walked toward the stairs Marion whispered to Beth, “Are you familiar with pegging?”
“I know what it means. I’ve never tried it but I’m always up for something new.”
“Beth, this is going to be epic. We’re going to drain this lucky boy dry.”
Marian turned her head and called out over her shoulder, “Alexa, play my favorite album.”
