As I grabbed my sister’s bags and walked toward the front door, my sister gave my wife a hug goodbye. I stared at the embrace between the two most significant women in my life: the one to whom I was overwhelmingly attached, and the one to whom I was married.
I was anxious to get our road trip started. “Coming?” I called out to my sister.
She separated from my wife and walked toward me with a mischievous grin on her face. “You know that I am.”
