Stars Collide Ch. 01 by mariasahathewriter, mariasahathewriter

Let me just get this straight, a wolf… an animal morphs right in front of me into a human. Her eyes meet mine, looking straight at me. Those emerald green eyes still glowing in the eerie darkness.

I step away from her, closer to the edge of the mountain in utter shock of the being in front of me. She stood and grabbed me by my coat in time, pulling me away from the edge of the mountain cliff.

And she’s cute, too. Her little nose sits atop her small round face. And her eyes, catlike with long eyelashes. Her lips plump and thick, kissable. My eyes trail down her body and I can’t help but notice her figure as she pulls me closer to her.

A desire to wander, to caress her curvy body. She has a few scars on her left arm, scratches like she was stuck by another wolf. I grip her arm where she was hurt and run my thumb through them. Her skin, so soft, yet tainted. She has marks all over her body, slashes on her right shoulder down to her bicep. A woman with a spark of fire in her soul.

Her plump breasts and erect nipples point at me. I watch, mesmerised. They look like a handful as they bounce around with every movement she makes. A desire knots in my stomach at the sight of her curves teasing me.

I look her in the eyes and I lift my hand to her breast and squeezing lightly. A surge of electricity hits all over my body. Her eyes glow brighter. She entices me as I watch her lick her lips for me. Begging me to kiss her. A premature connection lingers in the air between me and this…. wolf-human.

Breathing in the cold air in a sharp inhalation, my nerves entirely on edge. I take another deep breath and lower my hand from her breast. Her eyes as though glued to mine.

She turns away, looking towards the sky. The shooting star I’ve been anticipating passes by at that exact moment.

It’s a sight to see. The night glows up all around as the star passes us by. I forget the world and just imagine life out there beyond the Earth. To be in space, among the stars.

To wonder about every entity beyond the surface of the earth. Even the stars are created from almost nothing. They’re just trapped light trying to escape, in a space so vast. Maybe forming an asteroid field somewhere out there or creating planets in the universe. A beautiful way to see the solar system where we stand.

The star disappears into oblivion. The only thing left now is this woman observing me. I don’t feel on edge this time around. I lower myself to sit down on a large rock nearby.

And how do I forget the naked woman standing in front of me watching this phenomenon? She has strawberry blonde locks, a huge difference in contrast to her brown wolf fur. Her back is completely toned, and somewhat muscular. We match in height I would say. I’m not the tallest, nor the shortest of all humans. Her body curves out from her tiny waist. She has a nice proportionate ass with long, slender legs.

“I’ve never seen anyone turn into a human before. How is that even possible?” I say, curiously wandering how it all works.

She watches me knowing it’s not a common question she gets asked often. A few minutes pass as I wait for a reply, which she gives without blinking.

“I have the ability to morph between both human and wolf. But, you don’t need me to tell you that. You can see that for yourself. And as to how…? Well…. even we are searching for the answers.”

“So, what are you doing here?” I ask.

“You’re trespassing on our land. This mountain is our territory. Usually, you die before we even figure out why a human is here. I’ve been watching you throughout the evening. You seem harmless, even when you threw that beer bottle towards me,” she ends with a slight laughter in her tone.

A shiver runs down my spine. It didn’t occur to me that I would’ve actually been dead now, but I’ll take that as a compliment seeing as I’m still alive. I don’t doubt she has the capability to shred anyone into pieces. A little extreme in my opinion, but I’m no wolf. I don’t know what her abilities are.

“I should also ask you, what are doing here?” she says to me cautiously.

“Stargazing. There was a rumour of a shooting star appearing tonight. And, it came true. Many astrologers weren’t sure.” It was nice watching it from this height, high up the ground.

We’re closer to the sky at this point. So far away from the busy, noisy city. A quiet place where you can hear close to nothing and see almost everything that is wonderful about this world. That’s what I wanted to say.

“You humans always come up here to pollute our mountains. Just the way you ruin your cities.” I direct my gaze back at her as I hear the rising tone of anger in her voice. I didn’t expect so much anger.

I guess the nerves hit you hard when you hear her threatening tone. But quite surprisingly, not enough to scare me. I stretch a hand to touch her rosy, fluffy cheek.

“I love the mountains. I would never do anything to ruin it.” I just have this feeling she wouldn’t hurt me. I guess that’s why I’m confident enough to touch her without fear. I mean even though we just met and it might be a stretch.

I can tell in the way she watches me. Inadvertently making me blush through her warning. She loves her territory and would do anything to protect it, I get it. I can’t help my desire towards her despite that, and I’m not sure I want to.

I’m still trying my best not to stare at those supple, pointy breasts. And resisting the urge to grab them and put them in my mouth. Her mysterious glaring makes me wonder what wolf people are truly capable of. I’m curious to know more about her.

“What’s your name?” I finally ask.

“I’m Camille. Everyone calls me Cam,” she replies.

She suddenly gets up and starts walking into the forest. Very calmly and casually as though she wasn’t even talking to me in the first place. Like it’s normal to walk around, stark naked in the cold, freezing forest night.

“Don’t you feel cold? I mean it’s a little strange.” Without thinking, I swiftly follow her. I quickly take my coat off. I hand it to her and she wraps it around herself.

“You didn’t have to do that, you know, but thank you, I appreciate it regardless.”

If I’m cold even in my coat, she must have been freezing, because it is not normal for a human to be that resistant to cold.

The view from her backside was nice touch as she walked in front of me. Yet, she didn’t seem so bothered about anything.

“Come with me. I want to show you something. This isn’t the highest we can go, climb with me,” Cam says with a wide smile. She gestures her hands out to me. And I follow her as she pulls me in her direction. It’s really hard to see in the dark, so I rely on her to guide me through the chilly forest.

She can see clearly by the way she moves. I don’t think she realises that I’m just a normal human with a pretty decent eyesight and I can’t see very well in the dark, at least, not as good as she does. I trip over the fallen branches and rocks.

We climb up the mountain and I told on to her tightly in case I trip again. It’s getting pretty steep the higher we go.

“Hold on to me,” she says when she realizes I’m lagging behind.
