It all started one day as I was walking my dog around this lake by my house. As I came around the far side of the lake, there were two young girls walking a big German Shepard. As we got closer we smiled at each other and said, “Hi.” The girl with the dog was cute and as they passé, I looked back at her and she looked back at me too. , Everyday, I take my dog for a walk around this lake at a park near my house, somedays, especially on weekends I might go a few times a day, and it is true that people of all ages are drawn to other people with dogs, me included. This one particular day while walking my dog, I noticed what looked like a couple young girls walking a big German Shepard, and as we approached each other on the path, I immediately noticed the girl holding the leash. She had a very pretty face, a nice smile, and a great little body. As I got closer to them, I simply said, “Hi,” which caused them to stop.

I couldn’t get over how big the dog was or how attractive the one girl was, but the girl with the dog said hi back, and as we passed each other, and we made eye contact, I commented, “That’s a big dog.”

We again smiled at each other, and she simply remarked, “Yea.”

But suddenly, as if the German Shepard knew I was attracted to the girl, it pulled her, causing the two girls to giggle a little as they continued on there walk around the lake, cutting off my chance to talk to her.

The girl with the dog was cute; petite and had a great shape; very perky. Again, I wasn’t sure how old she was but figured they were much younger than me, but I found myself looking back their way before leaving the park.

I didn’t really think about it too much at the time, but after leaving the park, I found myself thinking about her, to the point of obsessing about her and wonder if I would ever see her again.

I started walking my dog several times a day, hoping to run into her again, and a few days later, there she was walking her dog around the park, but she was on the other side of the lake, and this time she was alone.

I knew we would eventually pass each other just like last time, and I was anxious to run into her again, but nervous too. As I continued to walk around the lake, I wanted to talk to her and nervously thought, “What would I say?” and as I watched her from afar, continually looking her way, I wondered if she had noticed me too.

I desperately searched for the right words to say and when we approached each other and our eyes met, I could see she was smiling at me. I was like a kid, “What should I say,” I thought, and as we got closer, I again thought she must be really young, but that smile was infectious.

She was wearing a school t shirt that was kind of short, and because of the way it draped over her firm little boobs, it showed her stomach slightly, but the tight running shorts she was wearing really accentuated her thighs and her firm little butt, so much so that I became nervous as I continued to check her out as we got closer.

As we passed, I looked at her German Shepard and when I glancing back at her, I simply smiled and said, “Hi.”

It seemed to startle her a little and even thought her dog continued to pull her, she smiled and said hi as we started passed each other. Internally, I shook my head, regretting that I hadn’t said something more to stimulate a conversation, but as I continued on my walk, I realized I would have another chance to talk to her because we would eventually pass each other again on the other side of the park, over by the entrance.

I told myself I had to make sure to stop her and try to strike up a conversation. I again watched her from the other side of the lake, and sensed or hoped she was watching me too as we rounded to lake

It wasn’t long before I was saying to myself, “There she is again.”

She had a noticeable bounce in her step, or maybe it was her dog pulling her along. In any case, I was starting to become a little nervous, but I needed to try to talk to her, and as we got closer, she was smiling and with out thinking, I stopped her by asking her what her dog’s name was. She told me it was Mac and immediately I said, “very pretty,” and as I reached down to pet her dog again she said, “Thanks.”

Our dogs started to play a little and as I stood up she said, “Looks like they get along pretty well.”

We again smiled at each other and reaching out my hand to shake hers, I introduced myself. She giggled slightly and told me her name was Taylor. I thought to myself, “She has to be young, probably to young.” I returned to petting her dog briefly, and again I became choked up, not know what to say and so when I stood up and started to gradually move away from her, I told her it was nice to meet her. We looked at each other, and as we shook hands again, I could sense she was confused in a way, but I was so nervous, I had to step back and gather my thoughts. I wanted to continue to talk to her but didn’t know what to do. At the same time I think she sensed my nervousness as I moved away and suddenly she asked, “Hey, do you want to come over to my house, maybe get something to drink.” I paused but she continued by saying, “I live just around the corner.”

I didn’t know what to say; I wanted to go but I was apprehensive and I think she knew it, because when I looked at her, I could tell she was waiting for me to say something, and when hesitantly I asked, “Are you sure.”She continued to smile and immediately shook her head yes and said, “It’s okay, no one’s home.”

I didn’t know what to do, I wanted to go and as her dog pulled her, I excitedly decided to follow her and as we left the park and turned to head down the street, toward her house, the dogs jostled and pulled on our leashes and we laughed.

I found myself becoming anxious, and sensing we were nearing her house, I searched to see if anyone was watching us as we walked up the driveway, it was to late to turn back now.

Taylor headed us in through the garage, which lead right into the kitchen, where we unleashed our dogs and simply milled around in the kitchen for a little bit. When there was a lull in our conversation, I thought to myself, “How old are you,” and so I simply asked, “How old are you? “

Taylor smiled and said, “I’m 18,” and then asked, “How old are you?”

I was shocked, she didn’t look 18, but I quickly responded, “ Well, if your 18, then I’m 2 or 3 times older than you.”

As I looked at her for a reaction, she smiled and quickly said, “You don’t look that old.”

I was cautious as to how to respond but I also felt maybe a little sarcastic and kiddingly I blurted out, “Neither do you.”

She seemed to be taken a back slightly and turning she said, “What do you mean by that.”

I didn’t mean anything but I could see she was concerned and reeling I said, “No, I thought you might be older than that.”

She appeared to search for what to say, but seemed to be relieved and after a short pause, she smiled and sarcastically said, “Are you okay with that.”

I immediately said, “Oh yea,” and as we continued to smile at each other Taylor asked if I wanted anything to drink as she moved over to the refrigerator.
